We want to get to know you!

In addition to your already submitted application, we want to get to know you and your personality better by going through various interview rounds with you during the application process. This is how we find out whether we fit together and whether you and Lampenwelt could become a match.

Our application process

In order to get to know you and your personality better, one of our recruiters will conduct a first get-to-know-you phone call, the catch-up call. You don't need to prepare yourself for this. We want to introduce you to Lampenwelt and also give you a first impression of what you can expect from the position you have applied for.

Duration: 30 minutes
Type: by telephone or virtually

In the next step, we send your application to your potential future team. If you are convincing here as well, we will arrange an appointment for the peer interview, where you will learn more about Lampenwelt and get a deeper insight into the position.

Duration: 45 - 60 minutes
Type: virtual
Participants: Team Lead

On this day you will be on site at Lampenwelt so that we can get to know each other personally. You will also get a first impression of the rest of your team, your new workplace and learn more about the daily tasks and processes.

Duration: 2 - 3 hours
Type: on-site or virtual

Were you able to convince us in all steps our Team Lead will make you a contract offer. In this meeting you will discuss the general conditions which are the basis for our contract offer.

Duration: 30 minutes

If you have applied for a Tech & Data position you can demonstrate your technical skills in a coding challenge. The duration of this challenge varies greatly depending on the area you apply to.

Preparation is everything!

Complete your resume

You don't need to write an elaborate cover letter with us. Rather, fill your resume with life and tell us in bullet points what you have done in the last few years. Preferably with two or three points of your daily doing per station.

Don't forget to include your contact details such as email address and phone number in your resume.

Sometimes the respective email providers sort out emails from e-commerce companies. Therefore, check your spam folder regularly so that our messages reach you.

Find out about Lampenwelt, the culture, the values and everything that goes with it. Also, familiarize yourself with the job and carefully read through the tasks and required skills. This will prepare you perfectly for the interviews.

Always remain yourself in the application process. No one expects you to know or be able to do everything: It is important that you remain authentic and admit when you are not good at something or lack the necessary knowledge. Show us who you are as a person and what makes you tick.

We usually have the first conversation virtually or by phone. Make sure you have a stable internet or phone connection. Is the battery charged? Make sure you create a calm atmosphere for the appointment. We look forward to getting to know you!
