Enhance People’s Well-being

We are always rethinking the fascination of e-commerce

Everything we do has one goal: to make our customers' lives more pleasant. We achieve this by creating the optimal shopping experience for them: from the excellent product range to the custom-fit technical architecture and infrastructure to inspiration and excellent advice, we combine all the exciting working worlds of e-commerce. As a digital company, we live and love dynamics. Recognizing trends and reacting quickly to them is what makes up the everyday work of our young and agile teams. With curiosity and a desire to expand our own boundaries, we grow beyond ourselves every day and tackle things instead of just talking about them, thus actively shaping the future of our customers and employees.

"For us, dynamism and innovation are what make our business so exciting." Thomas Rebmann, founder and CEO of Lampenwelt

At Lampenwelt we are not only the first choice for our customers, but also for our colleagues. This is because we actively and confidently control the success factors for the future of e-commerce - with high-quality products, modern systems, optimal strategies, target-oriented processes as well as excellent company equipment. The greatest success factor, however, is our employees. From the very beginning, great people have played a decisive role in the success story of Lampenwelt and have brought us to where we are today.

Our history

From startup to leading e-commerce company

Selling lamps on eBay out of a garage - that's how the Lampenwelt success story began in 1999. What founder Thomas Rebmann originally planned as a sideline business grew extremely quickly, making Lampenwelt the largest and most successful online store for lighting in Europe. Even though we have since grown into a leading medium-scale enterprise, we still remain a startup at heart. This spirit is reflected in our culture and in the way we behave.
